By <br />making municipal sup- <br />plies more secure, the <br />Windy Gap Project also <br />reduces the need to <br /> <br />Windy Gap participants <br />such as the communi- <br />ties of Broomfield, <br />Longmont, Louisville <br />and Superior now have <br />improved access to <br />their Windy Gap water <br />through a new pipeline <br />from Carter Lake. <br />Termed the Southern <br />Water Supply Project, <br />the pipeline will convey <br />18 WINDY GAP PROJECT <br />Lake Granby is the second largest reservoir in Colorado
