<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Fish Ladder <br /> <br />January 26, 1996, contractor begins excavation using a Drott 40 trackhoe to subgrade at station <br />0+52 to 0+86. <br /> <br />March 3, 1996, excavation for fish ladder is complete. <br /> <br />42-inch B.ypass Pipe <br /> <br />December 12, 1995, the contractor began excavation to sub grade for the 42-inch diameter <br />reinforced concrete pipe inlet at the forebay structure using a Cat D6 and Drott 40 trackhoe at <br />various times. <br /> <br />January 26, 1996, contractor continuing excavation to subgrade at station 0+52 to 0+86. <br /> <br />January 26, 1996, contractor began laying 42-inch diameter RCP pipe using the Drott 40 <br />trackhoe from stub out at forebay structure downstream. <br /> <br />February 15, 1996, contractor places concrete for closure joint.. <br /> <br />April 10, 1996, 42-inch pipe is hydro-tested and successfully passes. <br /> <br />Reference Photo Nos.CN-1745-417-16NA, CN-1745-417-17NA, CN-1745-417-137NA, and <br />CN-1745-417-138NA, <br /> <br />Backfill Around Structures <br /> <br />The concrete was allowed to cure for seven days prior to the placement of backfill. <br />Backfill is placed in 6-inch lifts and compacted with a vibratory plate compactor and walk: <br />behind sheeps foot roller compacter. A Bobcat 753 was used to place backfill close to the <br />structures. <br /> <br />February 13, 1996, contractor begins backfilling around forebay structure and wingwalls. <br /> <br />March 7, 1996 backfill completed around forebay structure and wingwalls. <br /> <br />February 15, 1996, contractor begins backfilling around entrance structure footer. <br /> <br />March 28, 1996, backfill completed around entrance structure. Sheet piling that protruded above <br />finished grade is cut off for contractor convenience instead of complete removal. <br /> <br />March 7, 1996, contractor begins backfilling around fish ladder. <br /> <br />Const-4 <br />
