I 1 ' 2.3 PHASE 2 SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES The purpose of Phase 2 is to further evaluate potential reservoir sites through discussions with ' interested parties and preliminary field investigations. The objective is to identify the site(s) that currently has the greatest potential of being constructed for future detailed geotechnical, hydrologic, and engineering evaluation. This Phase 2 report does not include detailed evaluation of hydrology or water rights administration. The Phase 2 scope-of-work includes the following major tasks: • Obtain feedback on the Phase 1 report and recommendations from water commissioners, basin directors, landowners, and interested parties. • Revise the list of retained sites from Phase 1 (refer to Table 1) based on feedback provided. Update the list of sites to be further evaluated in Phase 2. (This process is described in Section 3.0.) • Develop criteria to further compare sites and select three to five Phase 2 small reservoir sites for preliminary field reconnaissance during the summer 2000 field season.
