MORROW POINT RESERVOIR
Morrow Point Reservoir is located directly downstream of Blue Mesa
and acts as reregulation facility. Morrow Point is modeled with a
total capacity of 117,190 acre-feet including an active capacity
of 42,120 acre-feet. The storage target for Morrow Point is set
to equal the maximum content. This operation evens out the flow
from Blue Mesa and provides a stable power pool. Below Morrow
Point, a tributary inflow station is added to the network to
account for the inflow from the Cimmaron drainage. The depletions
associated with the Boswick Park Project are also modeled at this
station.
