region. The initial mailing included a letter signed by the <br />Chief of Fisheries, the survey form, and a postage-paid return <br />envelope. The survey form was identical to that used in the <br />resident survey. A second mailing took place 4 weeks later to <br />all anglers who had not yet returned their form. It included a <br />modified version of the initaal letter from the Chief of <br />Fisheries, the survey form, and a postage-paid return envelope. <br />Public meetings between WGFD fisheries managers and <br />individuals interested in fisheries management were held at 20 <br />locations throughout Wyoming in May and June 1994 as part of the <br />"Fisheries Future" process. Attendees were asked to fill out a <br />questionnaire identical to the one used in the resident and <br />nonresident mail surveys. <br />Questionnaires were inserted into the may/June fishing issue <br />of Wyoming Wildlife News with a business-reply postage-paid <br />envelope. A total of 46,000 copies were made available at no <br />charge through convenience and sporting goods stores in Wyoming, <br />and Wyoming Game and Fish Department offices. The questions were <br />the same as those of the other three surveys. <br />vii
