The primary objective of this task would be to provide a
demonstration area for testing hypotheses about the spring
habitat requirements of rare fish. Specific objectives of the
project include:
1) To create and manage interactive wetlands for the benefit
of rare fishes.
2) To develop habitat management procedures and protocols that
can be used elsewhere, and
3) to produce a habitat management manual
The facilities created by the project would be valuable for testing
and demonstrating management strategies, particularly those related
to spring flows.
Deliverables:
Yearly repor-s would be submitted and a habitat management
manual would Le produced at study completion.
