Provide flows necessary to recover the Colorado pikeminnow, including
tributaries necessary to life history; i.e., Gunnison River.
3. Implement activities to successfully expand the range of the population of the
Colorado River subbasin and enhance recruitment; i.e., maintain unimpeded fish
passage within occupied habitats; insure passage over Grand Valley Diversion,
Price-Stub Dam, Government Highline Dam, Redlands Diversion; minimize
entrainment in the Grand Valley Canal.

San Juan River Subbasin
1. Continue activities in the San Juan River to obtain a positive biological response
toward establishing a natural self-sustaining population

Delisting Criteria
Delisting of Colorado pikeminnow will be considered when the Green River and Upper
Colorado River subbasins meet genetic criteria of at least 2,200 adults combined for 12 years,
and delisting criteria listed below are met:

All Populations
2. Populations in the Green River, Upper Colorado River, and San Juan River
subbasins are maintained such that:
a. the estimated populations are not significantly less than the point estimates
of the first reliable estimate available for each population for 5 years,
b. a trend in population point estimates for the same 5-year period that does
not decline significantly, and
c. a proportion of age 3 fish for each year that is not significantly higher than
30% or lower than 20% of the adult population for the same 5-year period
(Table 2).

Green River Subbasin
1. A minimum estimated population of2,550 adults for a period of 12 years, such
that:
a. the lower 95% confidence interval of the estimated population of adults
exceeds 2,550,
b. a trend in adult population point estimates for the same 12 year period that
does not decline significantly, and
c. portion of ages 0, 5, and 6 that equal or exceed catch rates and proportions
provided in Table 3 for 8 of the same 12 years.
2. Provide legal assurance and/or agreements for flows necessary to recover the
Colorado pikeminnow, including tributaries which are important to the life history
of the species.

Upper Colorado River and San Juan River Subbasins
One of the following is met:
1. Upper Colorado River population meets demographic criteria of at least 1,200
