By 27 August 1996 this fish had moved upstream to a very deep pool <br />(>12 feet) at RM 80.1 (Figure 21 and 22). The signal emitted by this fish was weak <br />(possibly due to the depth of the pool and large submerged boulders) and precise <br />locations were not possible. During the final week of the study (23 October 1996) this <br />fish was located in the downstream end of the pool (RM 80.0) where a stronger signal <br />was observed. <br />Channel Catfish #40:7719 (CC771) <br />CC771 was captured by electrofishing on 23 Jul. 1996 at RM 78.4 The fish remained in <br />the general pool where it was captured throughout the month of September, however it <br />Draft Yampa River Radio Telemetry Report Page 31 <br />Miller Ecological Consultants, Inc.
