In January ice covered the entire backwater with an average thickness of 0.7 ft. By February
the upstream portion of the sandbar had eroded away, allowing water to flow through the habitat forming a
large side channel. This area was considered unsuitable habitat during the winter.

...-oz,'-"""

Baseline 360 feet

Area 30,074.1669

Bathymetric map of Site 2 (RM 327.6), showing waters edge and 1 ft contour lines.

Photographs of Site 2 (RM 327.6) taken October 1994 (top) and February 1995 (bottom).
