..

--

Effectiveness of the Project:
Measurable results that will have a significant impact on improving the health of thel watershed
consistent with the State approved TRO control plan. The project is consistent with priorities
established in the plan and coordinated with other TRO activities in the watershed. Refer to
the attached statement of the existing ecological condition.

The proposal is complete and the proposed implementation steps will accomplish the stated
goals of the proposal. Design minimizes the likelihood of re-infestation of the project area
through effective revegetation, monitoring, and maintenance plans.

Principles of IPM (biocontrol, chemical, mechanical, etc.) are well utilized. Chosen control
methods are the most appropriate techniques for the specific project area.

The proposal is effective in furthering the CWCS's multi-objective missions relative to
watershed restoration and protection of water resources such as enhancing instream flow
segments, facilitating water deliveries or mitigating flood risks.

The proposed project schedule is realistic. Anticipated environmental compliance and
permitting issues (for example: 404 dredge/fill, herbicide application, insect releases, NEPA,
etc) are adequately addressed so as not to delay project implementation.

5

.

.

.
