1 14 FLhL i( 62, 17 2 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION Central Nebraska Public Power and irrigation District Project No. 1417-174 ORDER APPROVING AS-BUILT EXHIBIT F DRAWINGS (Issued February 21, 2006) On January 27, 2006, Upper Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District (Central), licensee for the Kingsley Dam Project, FERC No. 1417, filed as-Uuilt Exhibit F drawings reflecring the construction of new gates at the Central Diversion Dam of the.. project. The project is located on the North Platte and P(atte Rivers in Nebraska. BACKGROUND The Central Diversion Dam, a part of the Kinsley Dam Project, is located 50 miles of the Kingsley Dam, just below the confluence of the North and South Platte Rivers, diverts Platte River flows into Central's 75-mile long Supply Canal. In the fall 2005, Central installed newly constructed Diversion Dam gates 45 and 98. The design modifications to gates were minor and were permitted without prior approval from the Commission under Article 3 of Form L-3 of the new license. ' REVIEW Central filed one revised and two new exhibit F drawings. The revised eachibit F drawing show references to the two new drawings that show changes to gates #5 and #S. The euhibit drawings adequately show project structures that were modified, and confoim to the Commission's rules and regulations, and are approved by this order. (B) Within 45 days of the date of issuance of this order, the licensee shall file the approved exhibit drawing in aperiure card and electronic file formats. a) Three sets of the approved exhibit drawing shall be reproduced on silver or gelatin 35mm microfilm. All microfilm shall be mounted on type D(3-1/4" X 7-3/8") aperture cards. Prior to microfilming, the FERC Project-Drawing Number (i.e., P-1417-1318) shall be shown in the margin below the title block of the approved drawing. After mounting, the FERC Drawing Number shall be typed on the upper right corner of each aperture cazd. Addirionally, the Project Number, FERC Exhibit (i.e., F- 26), Drawing Title, and date of this order shall be typed on the upper left corner of each aperture card.
