1 14 FLhL i( 62, 17 2 <br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />FEDERAL ENERGY REGULATORY COMMISSION <br />Central Nebraska Public Power and irrigation District Project No. 1417-174 <br />ORDER APPROVING AS-BUILT EXHIBIT F DRAWINGS <br />(Issued February 21, 2006) <br />On January 27, 2006, Upper Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District <br />(Central), licensee for the Kingsley Dam Project, FERC No. 1417, filed as-Uuilt Exhibit F <br />drawings reflecring the construction of new gates at the Central Diversion Dam of the.. <br />project. The project is located on the North Platte and P(atte Rivers in Nebraska. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Central Diversion Dam, a part of the Kinsley Dam Project, is located 50 miles <br />of the Kingsley Dam, just below the confluence of the North and South Platte Rivers, <br />diverts Platte River flows into Central's 75-mile long Supply Canal. In the fall 2005, <br />Central installed newly constructed Diversion Dam gates 45 and 98. The design <br />modifications to gates were minor and were permitted without prior approval from the <br />Commission under Article 3 of Form L-3 of the new license. ' <br />REVIEW <br />Central filed one revised and two new exhibit F drawings. All microfilm shall be mounted on type D(3-1/4" X 7-3/8") <br />aperture cards. Prior to microfilming, the FERC Project-Drawing Number (i.e., <br />P-1417-1318) shall be shown in the margin below the title block of the approved <br />drawing. After mounting, the FERC Drawing Number shall be typed on the upper right <br />corner of each aperture cazd. Addirionally, the Project Number, FERC Exhibit (i.e., F- <br />26), Drawing Title, and date of this order shall be typed on the upper left corner of each <br />aperture card.
