The period of performance grill be from execution of this Grant Agreement, <br />through September 30, 2008. <br />B. All reports shall be furnished pursuant to the completion dates specified in <br />each scope-of--work. <br />7. FUNDING. Funds will be prevalidated and reserved for fiscal year 2005 up to an <br />amount not to exceed $100,000. If the River District does not utilize the entire amount allotted <br />for this fiscal year, the balance will be carried forward for use in the following fiscal year. No <br />legal liability on the part of Reclamation for any payment may arise from performance under this <br />Agreement until funds are made available to the Grants and Cooperative Agreements Officer for <br />performance, and until the River District receives notice of availability, to be confirmed in writing <br />by the Grants and Cooperative Agreements officer. <br />8. PAYMENT POLICY Reclamation 11/03) <br />Acceptance of a financial assistance agreement from Reclamation creates a legal responsibility <br />on the part of the recipient organization to use the funds and property provided in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Reclamation has a reversionary interest in the <br />unused balance of funding and in any funds improperly applied. <br />3 <br />
