Law, Executive Director <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Director's Report <br /> <br />Water Pollution Control Revolvine Fund (wpCRF) <br /> <br />With the passage of HJR09-] 002, the project eligibility list will have 316 projects representing a <br />need of $2.2 billion. Loan capacity for 2009 is estimated at $89 million. <br /> <br />Stimulus package update - The current funding level for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund <br />is $6 billion. This would result in a grant of $48 million for Colorado. <br /> <br />Drinkine Water Revolvine Fund (DWRF) <br /> <br />With the passage of HJR09-1 002, the project eligibility list will have 305 projects representing a <br />need of $1.3 billion. Loan capacity for 2009 is estimated at $86 million. <br /> <br />Stimulus package update - The current funding level for the Drinking Water State Revolving <br />Fund is $2 billion. This would result in a grant of $35 million for Colorado. <br /> <br />Small Water Resources Proiects and Water Revenue Bonds <br /> <br />The City of Fountain was approved for a $9,000,000 loan to purchase land for a reservoir site and to <br />purchase a building for the Fountain Utilities Department. The bonds were sold on January 7th. The true <br />interest cost for the bond issue was 5.51 percent (30 year maturity). Bonds to fund loans for North Weld <br />County Water District and East Larimer County Water District will be sold this summer. <br /> <br />Animas - La Plata Project I La Plata River Future Projects Escrow <br /> <br />The Animas-La Plata Project is nearing completion. The dam, pumping station and inlet conduit are <br />nearly complete. Pump testing and reservoir filling is expected to start in March. <br /> <br />The La Plata WCD ("District") has received the 404 permit for the Long Hollow Dam and Reservoir. 1n <br />the next few months the District will be submitting a project proposal to initiate final design and other <br />activities. <br /> <br />;2} <br />
