Declaration, the Articles of Incorporation, and the Bylaws of the Community, together with all <br />easements, rights, and appurtenances thereto and the buildings and improvements erected or to be <br />erected thereon. <br />"Voting Member" shall mean and refer to the Owner who has been designated by all of the <br />Owners of a Lot as the Voting Member. The Voting Member shall register his or her address with <br />the Association and shall be the official representative of the Lot for purposes of casting votes, <br />receiving notices, and paying dues. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CLUB AND ITS MEMBERS <br />2.1 Membershin. <br />(a) Every person who is an Owner of record of a recorded fee interest in any Lot <br />which is subject to this Declaration shall be a Member of the Club, including contract sellers, subject <br />to application and approval by the membership and payment of a Membership Fee as set forth in the <br />Bylaws. <br />(b) Membership shall be appurtenant to and may not be separated from <br />ownership of any Lot. Membership may be transferred only upon the transfer of the Lot and then, <br />only to the purchaser of the Lot. <br />(c) Ownership of a Lot, approval of a membership application by the <br />membership, and payment of the Membership Fee shall be the sole qualifications for such <br />membership. <br />(d) Transfers of Lots shall be only to members of the Owner's family (related by <br />blood or marriage) or to a family trust. Transfers by will, gift or devise outside of the family are <br />strongly discouraged. In the event of any such transfer outside of the family or family trust, the <br />recipient of such transfer is subject to approval of a membership application and payment of a <br />Membership Fee. <br />(e) Where more than one person holds an interest in any Lot, all such persons <br />shall be members. There shall be one vote per Lot. <br />2.2 General Pur�oses and Powers of the Club. The Kenosha Trout Club, through its <br />Board of Directors, shall perform functions and manage the Real Estate and Community as provided <br />in this Declaration so as to further the interests of the Owners of the Community as Members of the <br />Club. All Members shall be deemed to have assented to, ratified and approved such designation and <br />management. The Club shall have all power necessary or desirable to effectuate such purposes. <br />2.3 Authority of the Club. The business affairs of the Kenosha Trout Club shall be <br />rnanaged by the Board of Directors.
