that person shall automatically be the Voting Member. In all other instances, the Lot Owners <br />must designate a Voting Member. If a corporation, business, partnership or trust oums a Lot, that ,� � <br />entity shall designate an officer, director, employee, trustee, or partner to act as the Voting <br />Member for the entity. The Voting Member may be changed at any time, by delivering written <br />notice to the Secretary-Treasurer, signed by all of the Lot Owners, setting forth the rrame, address <br />and telephone number of the Voting Member. <br />Section 3.3 Votin�. Each Lot shall be entitled to cast one (1) vote which shall be cast <br />by the Voting Member or his or her duly authorized proxy. <br />Section 3.4 Qualifications and Admission to Membership. <br />(a) All applicants for membership shall submit an application to the Secretary-Treasurer <br />on a form prescribed by the Board of Directors for such purpose. The current Membership Fee <br />must be sent �vith the application. <br />(b) The Secretary-Treasurer shall refer the application to the membership committee <br />for consideration. The application shall be reviewed by the membership committee which will <br />make a recommendation to the membership of the Club to approve or disapprove the application. <br />(c) The cunent Voting Members of the Club, who are in good standing, shall be <br />entitled to vote on the membership application. The Secretary-Treasurer of the Club shall mail to <br />each �'otin� Member a copy of the application, the recommendation of the membership <br />committee, and a ballot giving the voting members the options to approve or deny the applica- <br />tion. All return ballots shall be postmarked no later than fourteen (14) days after the application <br />is mailed by the Secretary-Treasurer to the Voting Members. Any Voting Member who faiIs to <br />respond within the fourteen (14) day period shall be deemed to have voted per the recommenda- <br />tion of the membership committee. <br />(d) If the application for membership has been approved by at least a majority of the <br />Voting Members, the application shall be "accepted." If the application for membership is not <br />approved by at least a majority of the Voting Members, the application shall be "not accepted," <br />and the Membership Fee shall be returned to the applicant and the applicant notified of such. The <br />Board of Directors shall notify the seller of the approval or disapproval of the membership <br />application within 45 days. <br />(e) Pursuant to the provisions of the Declaration, approval of a purchaser's <br />membership application shall be a condition precedent to the sale of a lot within the Kenosha <br />Trout Club. In other words, no lot sale shall be closed prior to approval of the membership <br />application.
