Some examples of potential obsaacles to completing <br />the project in a timely fashion include the follmwing: inability to address mapping needs adec~uately with <br />availabl.e funding; difficullty coordinating community funding with FEMA funding; lack of an available <br />base map meeting FEMA minunum specifications (described in Append~ K of the Guidelines cmd <br />,Spec~cations for Flood Hazard Mapping Parmers); hydrologic and/or hydrautic issues; community <br />concenis; reliance on other studies or data (e.g., topc~graphic mapping) that will not be avai~able within <br />1he proji~t's scheduling constraints; needs not having as high a priority as originally identified; and other <br />~ ~onside~rations (FederaUState/non-governmental organizations, programmatic, disaster-related, legal). <br />The Pr~~ject Management Team shall explore potential issues on an angoing basis. If potential obstacles <br />are identified that could halt or significantly hixider the completion of the project, the Project Management <br />Team shall evaluate all gossible alterna.tives and develop an appmpriate cowse of action as soon as <br />practicable. When identifted, the issue will be communicated to the Project Team by CWCB, who will <br />also im~tiate discussion toward resolution of th~e issue. <br />Steinnda~rds: All work under Activity 2 shall be performed in accordance with the sta.ndards specified in <br />Sectiori 5 of this MAS.
