This application would restore the balance of the money available for such activities to the level
of about $150,000.
While the projects and studies have been relatively small, they have led to bigger initiatives. For
example, the Basin Planning Fact Sheets and Meetings were the precursor to the Drought and
Water Supply Assessment that lead to the revision of the CWCB’s conservation and drought
plann ing statutes, as well as the Statewide Water Supply Initiative.
