Public Education, Participat ion and Outreach Workgroup <br />Of the Interbasin Compact Committee <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />August 26, 2008 <br />Palisade, Colorado <br />Meeting Highlights <br />The workgroup discussed, adjusted and prioritized its FY2009 Scope of Work. <br />The workgroup decided to focus first on discus sing the role of the Roundtable Education <br />Liaisons, creating a survey for Roundtable members on their educational needs, and <br />review of IBCC/Roundtable documents for synthesis into information packets. <br />Attendees <br />The meeting was attended by: <br />Nicole Seltzer, CFWE Susan Lesovsky, CWCB <br />Reagan Waskom, CWI Carl Trick, NPBRT <br />Rita Crumpton, OMID Caroline Bradford, CBRT <br />Jeff Crane, CWA Jenny Russell, SWBRT <br />Eric Hecox, CWCB Kent Crowder, NPBRT <br />Viola Bralish, DNR <br />Minutes <br />The group began by discussing the role of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education <br />in the budgeting and workgroup process. The Foundation was retained by CDM to <br />facilitate and carry out the FY2009 Wo rkgroup Scope. The Workgroup, CDM and <br />DNR/CWCB will provide the direction to th e Foundation on accomplishing the tasks laid <br />out in the scope. <br />The budget and scope that are cu rrently adopted are flexible and can be changed by the <br />workgroup over time, if needed. <br />
