Alternative Agricultural Water Transfer Methods -Grant Application Form <br />January 2008 <br />Task 8-Project Management <br />Description of task: <br />The Colorado Corn Growers Association is the applicant and will be the Project Manager in <br />order to assure that the focus of the project will remain on maintaining irrigated agriculture in <br />Colorado while providing for transfer or water to other uses. The Administrative Project <br />Manager will be Brown and Caldwell who will assure completion of quality deliverables on time <br />and within budget. <br />Sound and persistent project management will be important to the success of this effort. <br />Consistent communication and updates to Team members and to the C?1CB are included in this <br />task. Also included in this task are quality assurance and project management reviews that are <br />integral to Brown and Caldwell's formal project management program. <br />• Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and ident? who will <br />undertake the task: <br />Brown and Caldwell uses a formalized project management protocol, named the "Project <br />Delivery System," or PDS. PDS is a communication, risk management, and information <br />management tool that is used by all Brown and Caldwell project managers. This tool will be used <br />to ensure that budget, schedule, quality, and critical project success factors are communicated <br />with the team and met during the course of the project. Brown and Caldwell will complete a <br />progress report for the previous month and submit this report to CWCB Project 1Vlanager by the <br />10th of the following month and will schedule aface-to-face meeting with the C?XICB Project <br />Manager by the 15th of each month. <br />• Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion of <br />the task: <br />Monthly progress reports will be submitted to C?1CB and regular monthly progress meetings <br />with the C?1CB Project Manager will be held. <br />II. Personnel <br />The following table provides a list of key pi°oject participants, their organization, i°esponsibilities in project and <br />qualifications.
