Water Supply Reserve Account - Grant Application Form <br />Form Revised May 2007 <br />The scope of wvork should outline by task how the water activity will be accomplished. It is important that the <br />scope of work detail the specific steps, activities/procedures that Nvill be followed to accomplish the Nvater activity <br />and the specific products/deliverables that will be accomplished. The scope of Avork should niclude but not be <br />limited to: task description, key personnel, budget, schedule and deliverables and the final report/project <br />documentation upon completion of the water activity. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />HEYBORNE <br />Most of the preliminary due diligence for this project has been completed. Ducks Unlimited as due course <br />for completing the restoration phase has secured the NEPA Phase I and national Cultural Heritage Clearances <br />required to use federal finds for that project. <br />1. Task 1 <br />• Description of task: Secure a purchase and sale agreement and conduct due diligence for finalizing the <br />easement agreement <br />• Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and identifi- who will undertake the <br />task: <br />1) Execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement with landowner <br />2) Submit a Prelirninan- Property Inspection Report to DU for approval <br />3) Contract with professionals to complete the required due diligence including: <br />a. Baseline Documentation Report <br />b. Mineral Remoteness Report <br />c. NEPA Phase I Report <br />d. Easement Appraisal <br />e. Title Cornrnitment <br />4) Close and Record the Easement <br />• Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion of the task: <br />1) Copy of Purchase and Sale Agreement <br />2) Copies of all final reports <br />3) Copy of recorded easement deed and exhibits <br />II. Personnel <br />Provide a list of key water activity/project participants and their qualifications to accomplish the water <br />activity/project If specific individuals or firms have not yet been identified indicate the tNpes of expertise that <br />will be sought (i.e. professional engineering firm, registered land surveyor, aquatic biologist etc.). <br />Dr. Kent Hevborne - landowner <br />Dr. Heyborne has completed one conserx-ation easement with Ducks Unlimited through another duck club in <br />20
