Water Supply Reserve Account - Grant Application Form <br />Form Revised May 2007 <br />stabilize water supplies for domestic. irrigation. power, manufacturing and other beneficial uses" i id-im the territory <br />included in the boundaries of the CWCD. These purposes continue to guide all operations of CWCD. The District must <br />operate Platoro Reservoir in consultation Nvith the State Engineer, the USBR and, for flood control, Avith the USACE and <br />has iwitten agreements with each of these agencies (Attachment B). The District also has an agreement with the State <br />Engineer to store and release Rio Grande Compact water without any fees being paid by the State. The District has a <br />decreed Nvater right for storage in Platoro Reservoir, a decreed right to exchange individual direct floe- Nvater to the <br />reservoir as an alternate point of diversion, and a decreed right for exchange of water from the Norton Drain and Closed <br />Bashi Project to the reservoir. The District Enterprise is exempt from Tabor regulations per the passing of <br />Referendum B in a Conejos County election held November 6, 2007 in which voters granted the District its <br />exemption.
