Water Supply Reserve Account - Grant Application Form <br />Form Revised May 2007 <br />Task 1.4 Continental Reservoir Seepage Alternatives Development and Evaluation - Contractor will prepare a task <br />memorandum presenting the findings and recommendations of the alternatives development and evaluation A task <br />memorandum willbe prepared presenting the analysis, findings, and recommendations. The task memorandum will be <br />suitable as a section for the final design report required by the SEO and the feasibility loan report required by CWCB. <br />Task 1.5 Continental Reservoir Seepage Plans and Specifications - Contractor will prepare the plans and <br />specification in accordance with SEO rules and will prepare probable an engineer's construction cost estunate for the <br />improvements. An EAP with downstream mapping will also be prepared for the darn. <br />Task 2.1 Convevance System Diversion Gate - Contractor will evaluate condition at diversion gate and specifi <br />required actions, and will prepare cost estimate for this work to be completed with an accuracy of plus and rnulus 10%. <br />Task 2.2 Convevance System Siphon Support Stabilization - Contractor will prepare plans and specifications to <br />stabilize the support system on the siphon and Nvill prepare cost estimates for this work to be completed, with an accuracy <br />of plus and minus 10%. <br />Task 2.3 Convevance System Pipeline and Siphon Capacity- Assessment and Design - Contractor will perform <br />hydraulic analyses, alternatives development and evaluation to evaluate condition and capacity of the pipeline and the <br />siphon used to transport water m winter; study seasonal problems with opoen ditch - freezing in winter limits the use of <br />stored water and the limitations on capacity- in su imer. Contactor will prepare plans an specificatiions to establish <br />necessaiv capacity in pipeline and will prepare cost estimates for this work to be completed with an accuracy_ of plus and <br />dinmus 10%. <br />Task 2.4 Conveyance System Open Ditch and Underground Pipeline Assessment and Desii - Contractor will <br />analyze and evaluate water convevance through open ditch and underground pipeline and will determine whether open <br />ditch shold be repaired/upgraded or replaced with underground pipe. Contractor will prepare cost estimates for these two <br />alteratives of open ditch or underground pipeline for this work to be completed, with an accuracy of plus and rnnlus <br />10%. <br />Task 2.5 Convevance System Santa Maria Net Optimization - Contractor will prepare plans and specificatnons to <br />optimize flows from siphon to Santa Maria, including possible replacement with larger-capacity underground pipeline for <br />rear-round use, and will recommend other alteratives. Contractor will prepare cost estimates for these alternatives for <br />this work to be completed with an accuracy of plus and minus 10%. <br />Task 3.1 Santa Maria Reservoir Seepage Repair Assessment and Design - Contractor will evaluate the Santa Maria <br />dam to determine/verif-v effectiveness of previous repairs, under filling conditions, and will consult with SMR and will <br />prepare plans and specifications to mitigate any identified issues. <br />Task 3.2 Santa Maria Reservoir Lakeman Lakes Reach Capacity - Contractor will submit plans and specifications <br />for an inflow into Santa Maria from the end of the siphon through Lakeman Lkes and will prepare plans and <br />specifications to establish necessary capacity in pipeline, preparing cost estimates to complete this work, with an accuracy <br />of plus and minus 10%. <br />Task 3.3 Santa Maria Conservation-Pool Optimization - Contactor will perform hydrologic/hydraulic/ vegetative <br />studies and submit designs and specifications to optimize conservation-pool storage in Santa Maria, making ezisting <br />seeps viable and providing a sufficient downstream flow regirne to Ghost Lake and Bristol Reservoir so as to enhance fish <br />19
