Water Supply Reserve Account -Grant Application Form Form Revised May 2007 acres to 16 for nonconsumptive use in Battlement Reservoir #3. The development of a native CRC trout fishery and brood stock refugia for a native State Species of Special Concern will increase the recreational opportunity and use by anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts in a beautiful location in northwestern Colorado. The increased storage of water will help recharge the aquifers that the Towns of Parachute and Battlement Mesa depend on for their water supply, which originates from springs below the White River National Forest. 5. The scope of work should outline by task how the water activity will be accomplished. It is important that the scope of work detail the specific steps, activities/procedures that will be followed to accomplish the water activity and the specific products/deliverables that will be accomplished. The scope of work should include but not be limited to: task description, key personnel, budget, schedule and deliverables and the final report/project documentation upon completion of the water activity. Task 1 • Description of task: Removal of existing outlet structure at Battlement Reservoir #3 • Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and identify who will undertake the task: Heavy equipment removal of approximately 1000 square feet of material by the BOR construction crew (see Engineering Figures) • Description of the major deliverableslproducts that will be produced upon successful completion of the task: Preparation for Task 2: construction of a permanent, hardened spillway Task 2 • Description of task: Construction of permanent, hardened spillway at Battlement Reservoir #3 • Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and identify who will undertake the task: Heavy equipment construction of approximately 325 square feet of material by the BOR design and construction crew (see Engineering Figures) • Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion of the task: 7
