o USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service <br />o CSU Co-Operative Extension <br />o Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District <br />o Southeast Colorado Water Conservancy District <br />Deliverables <br />• Compilation of findings and materials provided, for ditch company <br />inquiries <br />o characterization ofeach company's interests as they choose to <br />disclose <br />o relevant policies or positions ofeach company <br />o report on each meeting, as approved by each company <br />o description of information or assistance desired <br />• Synthesis and observations report on findings <br />• Additional comment by Committee, and Basin Roundtable <br />• Recommendations on potential participation improvements and means of <br />involvement in water arrangements <br />• Recommendations for future activity in this area. <br />Task 2 Inquiries with Local Governments <br />• Prepare explanatory materials, schedule meetings, provide presentations, <br />and engage municipal officials in exploration of guidance concerning <br />municipal current and future interests inwater-related amenities and <br />interests. <br />Method <br />• Hold meetings as agreed, with groups if desired, elected officials, or staff <br />as esire . <br />• The Committee will develop basic concepts and preferences for <br />questions and approach, and the facilitator (Smith) and advisors (Weber <br />and Wiener) will make the visits with any Committee or Basin <br />Roundtable participants who wish to join. <br />Deliverables <br />• Compilation of findings and materials provided <br />o Characterization ofpreferences and interests <br />o Compilation of Plans and Processes identified <br />o Report on each meeting, with comment from participants if <br />provided <br />• Synthesis and observations report on findings <br />• Additional comment by Committee, and Basin Roundtable <br />• Recommendations on potential participation improvements and means of <br />involvement in water arrangements <br />• Recommendations for future activity in this area. <br />2 <br />
