North Platte Basin Roundtable Meeting Minutes, 04.22.2008 4 <br />Nolan: More than one <br />Kent: what length of time? <br />Nolan: Over five years to get good data. N Platte and Yampa have the least historic data, <br />so those two basins would have the greater need for CoAgMet. <br />Carl Trick: How much reliable data are you going to get from each different type of <br />gauge? <br />Nolan: Pm not convinced that the atmometer is calibrated for pasture grass. If you don't <br />do CoAgMet, you would want one at the lysemeter up here and should visit it weekly. <br />Discussion about CoAgMet, WSRA fiinding, etc.: <br />Nolan could put together an application in time for the May meeting to propose funds for <br />CoAgMet in the N. Platte basin, if it is something the roundtable thinks is important for <br />consumptive use data. <br />Town of Wul~len Application for Water Supply Reserve Account: <br />TOW applications were distributed; everyone should have a copy with the correct <br />(amended) changes. Extra copies are available at Kent Crowder's office. The roundtable <br />will take official action on this application at the May 15, 2008 meeting. <br />Ne~v Pioneer Ditch Diversion Reconstruction, Status of Demonstration Aspect of <br />Project: <br />Is it the roundtable or the applicant who is responsible for tours? <br />Discussion on tours, and who should be responsible for organizing public demonstration <br />project. <br />Carl Trick II volunteered to take the roundtable out to tour the project, before and after <br />work is commenced. He will also do some coordination with Silver Spur to set up some <br />dates for public tours. <br />Discussion about the state's request: <br />Kent: what are the criteria that the state wants to see for the demonstration project? <br />Barb: does Silver Spur need liability insurance? <br />Further discussion on demonstration project. <br />Meeting adjourned. <br />Next Meeting: May 15, 2008 6-8pm, River Rock Banquet Room, following the IBCC <br />meeting from llam - Spm <br />
