(~-~~
• A Project Summary that describes technical, budge;t and schedule concerns for
the Project.
Prepare 12 monthly invoices that correspond to the activities described in the progress
reports. Include billing by person, rate, hours, and charge. Include a description of other
direct costs and a summary of retainage (previous retaina€;e held, retainage this period,
total retainage).
Deliverables:
158.1 Monthly progress reports and invoices, presented at progress meetings.
Task 171- Training
Objective:
Provide training for CDSS tools.
Background:
The HydroBase database and CDSS tools are very useful, both for general data review
and for modeling activities. Enhancements to the system in recent years (e.g., map
displays, time series tools, general data displays) have occurred as part of the CDSS
projects but features are likely underutilized because users are not using the tools or
because new features are unfamiliar. To directly increase e~:posure to CDSS tools,
hands-on training sessions will be presented to State of Colorado staff. Subsequent to the
training sessions scoped here, State of Colorado staff may conduct additional training
sessions using the materials prepared in this task.
Assumptions:
Training for State of Colorado staff at the State offices will occur on computers provided
by the State, or a suitable facility and computers will be dete;rmined at the State's cost.
The State will determine whether, at the completion of trainiing, a HydroBase and CDSS
software CD is made available, similar to other training sessions that have been
conducted in the past. Alternatively, the State can choose toy charge a fee for the training,
to compensate for any materials that are distributed.
Approach:
171.1 Prepare for ahalf-day training session on StateView, for general users.
Prepare for ahalf--day StateView hands-on demonstration, suitable for general users. The
training materials will be in PowerPoint and will be modular so that they can be
rearranged and presented in an order appropriate for the audience (and contribute to on-
line training materials that could be prepared in a later phase,).
18
