•
may not be possible (e.g., because of reservoir to diversion
relationships).
b. The storage of data in HydroBase, in order to move from
development tables to production tables (e.g., it may be possible to
add an "upstream downstream position" to the geoloc table in
HydroBase.
c. Enhancement to the analysis tools that could be implemented (e.g.,
additional report formats for analysis results, map display to
summarize locations of calling structures).
Due to resource limitations and uncertainty about data issues, it is expected
that the recommendations in the memorandum may not resolve all issues with
a full-scale implementation, and may require further resources in a later
SPDSS phase.
128.2 Additional enhancements. Additional StateView enhancements will be made in
order to address usability and functional issues for SPDSS, based on specific
needs of users. Examples of features that have been previously identified and
which maybe implemented after discussions with the State include:
1. Allow users to select calendar, water, or irrigation year to be used for time
series summaries. Store the preference in the database for the user.
2. When features are selected on the map, also select in the attribute table shown
for the layer.
3. Add the ability to deselect selected features on the map.
4. Increase linkage between map and query windows. For example, if a
diversion layer is selected and the map select tool is used, automatically use a
"where structure type is headgate" query filter in the structure query window.
5. When querying from the map, indicate the UTM coordinates on the main
query windows.
6. Remove natural flows from station displays because these data are being
removed from HydroBase.
128.3 Documentation Release. The CWRAT/StateView software documentation will
be updated to reflect changes in functionality. Additionally, the resulting PDF
documentation will utilize features in Adobe Acrobat 7+, allowing a navigable
table of contents and searchable document to be created. Users will be able to
jump to sections of the documentation by clicking on entries in the table of
contents.
128.4 Software Release. After the above development has been completed, the
CWRAT/StateView software installation package will be updated for an official
software release, using software release procedures developed in SPDSS Phase 3.
10
