It is anticipated that this
workpian will be up to 20 pages in length (with additional pages for figures and appendices)
that will include the following additions:
- Target areas for Phase 3 data collection
- Field protocols not already included in the Phase 2 workplan
- Estimated budget and schedule for the Phase 3 program
• The Consultant will provide a digital copy (in MSWord and Adobe Acrobat PDF format) of
the Draft Phase 3 Field Study Workplan for the State's review. The Consultant will
incorporate the State's comments and recommendations. and provide a digital copy of the
Final Phase 3 Field Study Workplan in MSWord and Adobe Acrobat PDF formats.
Task 34: streambed Conductance Testing
Objective:
The objective of the streambed conductance testing is to quantify the hydraulic properties of
streambed materials for the mainstem South Platte River and selected tributary channels to aid in
characterizing surface water and groundwater interactions. This information will be used to
assess spatial trends in hydraulic properties of the streambed sediments and to define ranges in
these properties that will be used during groundwater modeling. Stream cross-sections will be
surveyed under this task fo,'r use in groundwater modeling.
SPDSS Groundwater SOW, Phase 3 4
