anticipated that up to 64 surface water aggregations will be required, based on
aggregations occurring above the 64 key streamflow gages identified in Phase 1. In
addition, ground water only lands (lands not served by a surface water source) will be
aggregated based on the location of acreage.
3.4 Identify the "wetness" condition of each month of streamflow record during the study
period for up to 10 indicator streamflow gages.. The gages will be selected to adequately
represent areas of irrigated acreage in the South Platte and North Platte basins. A
designation of wet, dry, or average will be assigned to each month during the study period
based on the long-term hydrology for each gage and engineering judgment. Indicator
gages will be assigned to water districts.
3.5 Fill missing monthly data for the key diversion structures and aggregated diversion
structures. Monthly diversion records will be filled using the wet/dry/average pattern
technique developed for the CRDSS basins based on the results of Subtask 3.4. The data
management interface TSTooI will be used to fill missing diversion records with their
statistical average diversions during wet, dry, and average months.
DeliveYables:
3.1 A technical memorandum describing the key structure selection process. The
memorandum will include a table of selected key structures, their total absolute water
rights, and a description of why they were selected as key. The memorandum will also
include maps showing the headgate location of key structures. Note that this deliverable
was included in phases 1 and 2.
3.2 A technical memorandum describing the review of key structure monthly diversion
records stored in HydroBase. The memorandum will describe potential problems or
issues identified.
3.3 A technical memorandum describing the aggregation process. The memorandum will
include ArcView coverages (and associated metadata) showing the. irrigated acreage
included in each aggregation, recommended "node" location for subsequent surface water
modeling, and tables listing individual structures and acreage included in each
aggregation.
3.4 A technical memorandum will be developed documenting the selection of indicator gages
and their assignment to water districts, and the characterization of streamflows. The
memorandum will include maps showing the location of the indicator gages and their
geographic area assignment, plus graphical representations of wetness patterns.
3.5 A technical memorandum will be developed that provides astep-by-step approach and
_ _ _ _ results of the _diversiongata-filling process, ~campl~te data -f-ile and-rc~pr-oducible data-
management commands required to product historic and aggregated diversion data for the
SPDSS study period will be provided:
Exhibit A-1Page 5
