<br />the ground water gradient is the same as the surface gradient. The DEM will be in ArcInfo <br />grid format and the analysis will require the Spatial Analyst extension to ArcGIS. The <br />results of the analysis will produce a list of irrigated acreage structure IDs, and the <br />corresponding model node return flow locations and percentage that is compatible with <br />other CDSS data management interfaces (e.g. TSTool, StateDMI, etc.) Existing <br />functionality and interfaces within the ArcGIS software package will be utilized wherever <br />possible. Develop a custom tool for the ArcGIS software package that calls a simplified <br />user interface that enables the user to save and recreate the analysis either from a menu <br />system or apre-defined command file. Test and confirm the applications functionality by <br />applying it to the South Platte basin. <br />18.4 Develop a set of scripts in the ArcGIS software package to assign climate stations and <br />weights to key and aggregate structures given a shape file of irrigated lands with associated <br />water source identifiers, and continuous climate station weighted grids. This script will <br />produce a list of key and aggregated structure IDs and corresponding climate station IDs <br />and weights that is compatible with other CDSS data management interfaces (e.g. TSTool, <br />StateDMI, etc.). Develop a custom tool for the ArcGIS software package that calls a <br />simplified user interface that enables the user to save and recreate the analysis either from a <br />menu system or apre-defined command file. Test and confirm the applications <br />functionality by applying it to the South Platte basin. <br />18.5 Develop a set of scripts in the ArcGI5 software package to assign soil moisture holding <br />capacity to key and aggregate structures given a shape file of irrigated lands with associated <br />water source identifiers, and polygon shape file of soil parameters. This script will produce <br />a list of key and aggregated structure IDs and area-weighted available soil moisture water <br />capacity that is compatible with other CDSS data management interfaces (e.g. TSTool, <br />StateDMI, etc.). Develop a custom tool for the ArcGIS software package that calls a <br />simplified user interface that enables the user to save and recreate the analysis either from a <br />menu system or apre-defined command file. Test and confirm the applications <br />functionality by applying it to the South Platte basin. <br />18.6 Develop a set of scripts in the ArcGIS software package to assign precipitation recharge to <br />ground water model grid cells given a shape file of land classification, precipitation <br />recharge percentages by land classification, climate station weighted grid shape files, and <br />ground water model grid shape file. This script will produce precipitation recharge for use <br />in ground water modeling efforts that is compatible with other CDSS data management <br />interfaces (e.g. TSTool, StateDMI, etc.). Develop. a custom tool for the ArcGIS software <br />package that calls a simplified user interface that enables the user to save and recreate the <br />analysis either from a menu system or apre-defined command file. Test and confirm the <br />applications functionality by applying it to the South Platte basin. <br />18.7 Develop a set of scripts in the ArcGIS software package to compute total canal and lateral <br />length given a shape file of canals polylines. This script will produce a list of key and <br />aggregated structure IDs and total canal and lateral length compatible with other CDSS <br />data management interfaces (e.g. TSTool, StateDMI, etc.). Develop a custom tool for the <br />ArcGIS software package that calls a simplified user interface that enables the user to save <br />and recreate the analysis either from a menu system or apre-defined command file.
