Colorado Water for the 21St Century <br />This educational fact sheet was written so that the citizens of Colorado can better <br />understand the collaborative process of water policy created by House Bill 05-1177. It <br />provides an overview of Interbasin Compact Committee (IBCC), Basin Roundtables, and the <br />Statewide Water Supply Initiative <br />The authors hope that by having a better understanding and appreciation of collaborative <br />water planning, Colorado citizens will become more involved in determining solutions to <br />managing one of our state's greatest natural resources -water. <br />This project was funded by Colorado State University Extension, the Colorado Department <br />of Natural Resources, and the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br />Authors: <br />Rodney L.
