Water Supply Reserve Account -Grant Application Form <br />Form Revised May 2007 <br />The construction of wetland impoundment via contour levee and the installation of appropriate <br />water control and water measurement structures will be done. Construction will be contracted <br />to eligible parties. Construction management and oversight will be provided through project <br />completion. <br />• Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and identify who will <br />undertake the task: <br />Based on approved designs, DU engineering staff will survey and stake the location of structural <br />improvements necessary for wetland development. A low-level levee will be constructed out of <br />base material found on site. Levees will be constructed such that water depth does not exceed, <br />on average, two feet of depth to optimize waterfowl feeding ecology with wetland aquifer <br />recharge. Water delivery infrastructure will be installed according to specifications. Water <br />measurement devices will be installed to satisfy the requirements of CCWCD's Plan of <br />Augmentation as specified by the State Engineer and Division Engineer, specifically the <br />Recharge Protocol. DU construction management staff will oversee delivery of the <br />impoundment so that all regulations, standards and specifications are met prior to project <br />completion. <br />• Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion <br />of the task: <br />7.)
