Water Supply Reserve Account -Grant Application Form <br />Form Revised May 2007 <br />5. Please summarize the proposed scope of work. Please refer to Part 2 of the Criteria and Guidance document <br />for detailed requirements. On the following page there is an example format for the Scope of Work. You can <br />use the example format or your own format, provided that comparable information is included. <br />The scope of work should outline by task how the water activity will be accomplished. It is important that the <br />scope of work detail the specific steps, activities/procedures that will be followed to accomplish the water <br />activity and the specific products/deliverables that will be accomplished. The scope of work should include <br />but not be limited to: task description, key personnel, budget, schedule and deliverables and the final <br />report/project documentation upon completion of the water activity. <br />The scope of work for the WCSD Wetlands Partnership is as follows: <br />I. TASKS <br />Task 1: Pro'ect Design <br />• Description of task: <br />Conduct preliminary biological, hydrological, pedological, engineering and administrative <br />assessments of project. <br />• Method or procedure that will be used or followed to accomplish the task and identify who will <br />undertake the task: <br />DU conservation staff will conduct surveys of the project site to determine optimal location of <br />water control structures, impounding levees, and other structural improvements as well as <br />consider biological factors like optimal foraging depths, microtopographysnd inundation rates <br />that impact the site's effectiveness as waterfowl habitat. CCWCD staff will assess soils, water <br />delivery infrastructure and water diversions to optimize recharge credit yield on the project site. <br />They will also produce models of water availability, water amounts, and alluvial recharge yield <br />to predict the recharge credit made available by the project. <br />• Description of the major deliverables/products that will be produced upon successful completion <br />of the task: <br />1.) A detailed survey and design of the WCSD wetland basin, including all water diversions and <br />delivery infrastructure; <br />2.) A detailed bid package including all plans, specifications, and quantities for materials and <br />equipment; <br />3.) A detailed water rights prospectus describing the water supplies to be utilized on the <br />project and the administrative structures permitting that use; and, <br />4.) A detailed hydrologic report predicting retimed water yield to the SPR arising from project <br />operation. <br />Task 2: Proiect Water Engineering and Water Court Filings <br />10 <br />
