Certain issues may affect the scope of our services and require an adjustment in cost or <br /> schedule. Such issues include, but may not be limited to; <br /> Differing geology than anticipated, requiring deeper or more borings. <br /> Unsuitable borrow in the darn area requiring C1 broader search fOr suitable borrow <br /> Sol'Is. <br /> Focused analysis or evaluation to address u11LIsual seepage:` conditions such as <br /> speci�11zed tests fog- in-place permeability or seepage properties of soil. <br /> • Requirements for additional information based on regulatory review comments. <br /> 6. Our services do not include preparation of dam design drawings or permit applications. <br /> FEES <br /> Our fee for services performed will be charged at our current hourly, unit, and expense rates <br /> according to the attached fee schedule. we estimate the cost of the proposed scope of services <br /> described above to be $16,000.00. Additional services, if applicable, will be charged at our <br /> current hourly, unit, and expense rates according to the attached fee schedule. <br /> For work performed between October 15 and April 15, a winter weather fee adjustment may apply. <br /> Temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit cause increased stress on our equipment and <br /> employees, and slows oar progress. Therefore, the above estimated cost for the field portion of <br /> the scope of services described will be increased for adverse weather, if applicable, as follows: <br /> Ambient Temperature(°F) Cost.increase <br /> 1 to 31 '15% <br /> -10 to 0 25% <br /> below .-10 Stop work <br /> If subsurface conditions different than those deseribed above are encountered, which we feel <br /> would warrant additional work beyond the supe described above, or if your .field representative <br /> requests additional services, we would propose to perform such work at additional cost. If this <br /> situation arises, we will discuss the additional services with you, and receive your written <br /> approval before proceeding.
