'PROPOSAL FOR SUBSURFACE E TL ATZON SERVICES <br /> SUR-FACE WATER IMPOUNDMENT <br /> MOFFAT CouN"r ', COLO ADO <br /> Dear Mr. Dickinson: <br /> Based on your verbal request of April 2, 2008, we are pleased to submit this proposal, in PDF <br /> format, for performs'ng a subsurface exploration for the above-referenced project. <br /> P1%.0 JE�T TIFF S C_']P T <br /> RA <br /> It is our understanding that the project will consist of the construction of a small earthen dam <br /> located in the NE'/4 of Section 187 T.111%;.7 R.101 w., 6" P.M., Moffat County, Colorado. we <br /> understand that the earthen dam will be approximately 450 feet in length and will be utilized to <br /> impound surface water runoff within the Talamentes Creek drainage system. we understand that <br /> exact location, positioning, and dimension of the proposed dam is not known at this time; however, <br /> we anticipate the proposed dam height will not exceed 20 feet. <br /> ANTI IPA'I"ED SUBSURFACE CONDITIONS <br /> We anticipato the subsoil at the site may consist of sand, silt, and/oi clay Jilluvlai deposits overlying <br /> sandstone/claystone bedrock associated with the Browns Park geologic formation. Depth to <br /> groundwater is unl�,nown; however, we am i�.;xpate groundwat�s�= elevation will prirnari l y be <br /> i n flue ned by surface water elevation in Talwiientes Creek. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The purpose of this exploration will be toobtainsubsurface soil and , 0 undwfater inrniatir, to <br /> develop geotechnical engineerincr recon nendations for the proposed earthen dam. our scope of <br /> services includes the following: <br /> 1.
