as expected, and the results were identical to StateCU results with the exception of a few <br />minor rounding differences. <br />Compare Enhanced StateMod Results to Previous CRDSS Historic Model Results and <br />Historic Measurements. The results of the monthly Historic Yampa River basin simulation <br />using the variable efficiency and soil moisture options (Enhanced Model) were compared to <br />Previous CRDSS results and historic measured data. The comparison concentrated on the <br />recent period 1976 through 1996. The results were assessed to determine the effect of <br />variable efficiency and soil moisture calculations on the model calibration by comparing <br />simulated versus CRDSS simulated diversions, streamflows, and reservoir contents. A <br />comparison was also made between simulated and measured diversions, streamflows, and <br />reservoir contents. The streamgages, diversion structures, and reservoirs highlighted in the <br />calibration section of the Yampa Model documentation were chosen as representative. The <br />locations of these comparison points are shown in Figure 1. <br />In addition, overall basin results were compared. Structures with large variations in <br />efficiencies were chosen to review the effects of the StateMod enhancements during wet, <br />average, and dry years.
