Title
SPDSS Task 69 - Estimate Reservoir and Stock Evaporation
Description

Notes for Table 8
1) Aggregate reservoir/stock pond should be located just upstream of gage identified unless otherwise noted.
2) 06 ARP009 should be located just upstream of the City of Boulder municipal demand node.
3) 06 ARP010 and 06_ASP006 should be located just upstream of the confluence of Boulder Creek and St Vrain
River.
Comments and Concerns
Non-key reservoirs and stock ponds have been aggregated and basin-wide evaporation estimated
for the SPDSS Consumptive Use and Losses Report, Water Budget, and surface water modeling.
Two methods were investigated for non-key reservoirs; a GIS approach and a Decreed Water
Right approach. The GIS approach is considered more accurate and is recommended for future
SPDSS activities.
