The City has additional share ownership in these ditch companies with a <br />change of use application pending in the Water Division 1 water court (Case No. 2002CW392). <br />Storage Rights <br />Green Ridge Glade Reservoir was constructed in 1977-1978 after the 1976 Big Thompson flood. <br />The reservoir is situated above the potable treatment plant and is filled via diversion works off <br />the Hansen Feeder Canal. <br />The reservoir was originally constructed to a capacity of 590 acre-feet (ac-ft) with a surface area <br />of 35 acres. Although the City began filling the reservoir with C-BT water in October 1978, the <br />reservoir had been used only in emergency situations (e.g., hazardous material spill upstream on <br />City of Loveland Operating Memorandum.doc Page 10 of 15 January 5, 2005 <br />
