The Lower Latham Ditch and Reservoir System has been identified as a key structure for the South Platte Decision Support System (SPDSS) consumptive use and surface water modeling efforts. Lower Latham Drain (Structure ID 0200891) <br />Lower Latham Drain starts approximately three miles west of Highway 85 in LaSalle, CO. The <br />drain collects seepage and returns it to the South Platte River upstream of the headgate to Lower <br />Latham Ditch. <br />Length: Lower Latham Drain is approximately 1 mile long. <br />Capacity: The Capacity for Lower Latham Drain is 35 cfs. <br />Conveyance Efficiency: No conveyance efficiency information is available. <br />Irrigated Acreage and Crop Type: There are no crops directly irrigated by Lower Latham <br />Drain. Water collected is used to irrigate crops under the Lower Latham Ditch. <br />Ground Water Use: There is no ground water used along this ditch. <br />Return Flow Location: Flows are returned to the South Platte River. <br />Measurement Device: There is no measurement device on this ditch. <br />Hydrobase Data: Records for total diversions are available in Hydrobase for 1994-1998 and <br />2000-2003.
