Colorado Water Rights Tabulation <br />Reservoir Accounts: All of the storage water in Julesburg Reservoir and direct flow water <br />owned by the District is used for irrigation on lands within the District. There are 150 <br />stockholders in the District who are entitled to receive apro-rata annual allotment of <br />water for each bonded acre within the District. Average historical water allotment has <br />been 0.6 acre-feet per District acre, not counting non-charge deliveries. <br />Ground Water Rights <br />There are approximately 100 ground water wells within the District, 80 of which provide <br />supplemental irrigation supplies. Well usage provides a significant and vital supplemental <br />irrigation supply of approximately 6,000 acre-feet per year District-wide.
