No data are available on the amount of dead storage in the high mountain reservoirs. <br />Additional information specific to the remaining high mountain reservoirs is listed below: <br />Comanche Reservoir (Structure ID 0303686) <br />• On-channel reservoir on Big Beaver Creek <br />• Active capacity of approximately 2,629 ac-ft <br />• Maximum surface area of 112 acres <br />• Maximum outlet release rate of 150 cfs <br />Hourglass Reservoir aka Big Beaver Reservoir (Structure ID 0303720) <br />• Off-channel reservoir on Hourglass Creek, tributary to Big Beaver Creek <br />• Active capacity of approximately 1,693 ac- ft <br />• Maximum surface area of 73 acres <br />• Maximum inlet capacity of 60 cfs <br />• Maximum outlet capacity of 150 cfs <br />Twin Lake Reservoir (Structure ID 0303684) <br />• Off-channel reservoir on Pennock Creek, tributary to South Fork Cache la Poudre River <br />• Active capacity of approximately 278 ac-ft <br />• Maximum surface area of 25 acres <br />Peterson Lake (Structure ID 0303677) <br />• Off-channel reservoir on un-named tributary to Cache la Poudre River <br />• Active capacity of approximately 1,183 ac-ft <br />• Maximum surface area of 55 acres <br />HydroBase Data <br />The monthly data over the 1950-2002 period of record pertaining to Greeley's High Mountain <br />Reservoir System include the following: <br />End-of--Month Contents <br />Comanche Reservoir <br />- Mostly complete record 1950-2002 except for water years 1950, 1951, 1956, 1959, <br />1960, 1963, and 1987. The City does not have copies of these data. <br />- Some winter records and sporadic summer months also missing. <br />- Historic record indicates water kept in storage over the winter prior to 1977, whereas <br />reservoir typically empty in late-July or late-August from 1977 forward. <br />Hourglass Reservoir <br />- Mostly complete record 1950-2002 except for water years 1950, 1958, 1960, 1966, <br />1987, and 1996.
