These wells have been <br />operated under augmentation plans since the 1990s, as discussed in the Operational Information <br />section. <br />Transbasin Water <br />The City of Greeley is within the boundaries of the NCWCD. As such, water made available <br />through the C-BT Project is used within the City's service area. The City started with 15,610 C- <br />BT units in 1955 to serve a population of about 16,000. The C-BT ownership has grown to about <br />22,500 units today. Greeley was also one of the original entities involved in the Windy Gap <br />project and had ownership of 84 of the 480 total Windy Gap units. The City sold some Windy <br />Gap units to Broomfield and Louisville. As of late-2004, Greeley had 64 Windy Gap units. <br />Pending Water Right Cases <br />The City has the following cases pending <br />Page 16 of 21 <br />
