However, infor m ation should not be <br />relied upon in any legal proceed ing. <br />SYSTEM OVERVIEW <br />The Farm ers Reservoir and Irrigation Com p any was form ed in the early 1900’s to provide <br />irrigation water to lands north of Denver. Major sources of water in thes e areas were identified <br />and the following four principal reservoirs were constructed to regulate and store water for <br />irrigation: B a rr Lake, Marshall Lake, Milton L a ke (Reservoir), and Standley Lake. Today, <br />FRICO is a mutual ditch com p any with four Divisions operating independ ently around each of <br />the m a jor re servoirs. <br />The Platte Valley Canal delivers water from the South Platte Rive r to the FRICO–Milton <br />Division. K e y structures identified in this system are as follows: <br />1. Platte Valley Canal (Evans No. 2 Ditch) <br />2. Beebe Canal <br />3.
