<br />Appendix G <br />Legal Description <br /> <br />The location of the Loveland Reservoir, its inlet and outlet ditches are described as <br />follows, to-wit: The location of said reservoir is on the northeast one-quarter (N. E. 'i4) of <br />Section Fifteen (15) and the south half (S. ~) of the southeast one-quarter (S. E. 'i4) of <br />Section Ten (10) and the west half(W. ~) of the west half(W. ~) of the northwest one- <br />quarter (N. W. ~) of Section Fourteen (14), all in Township Four (4) North, of Range <br />Sixty-nine (69) west of Sixth (6th) Principal Meridian, in the County of Larimer and State <br />of Colorado; and the inlet ditch for said reservoir has its source of supply from the Big <br />Thompson Creek and takes its water from the south side of said stream through the <br />headgate of the Handy Ditch, located at or near the intersection of said stream with the <br />north and south line between Sections Three (3) and Four (4) in Township Five (5) North <br />of Range Seventy (70) West of the Sixth (6th) Principal Meridian, in the County of <br />Larimer and State of Colorado, as the same is now constructed; thence through said <br />Handy Ditch as the same is now constructed, to a point on the south bank of Handy Ditch <br />in the southeast one-quarter (S. E. 1;4) of Section Ten (10) in Township Four (4) North of <br />Range Sixty-nine (69) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, thence due south about one.. <br />quarter ('i4) of a mile to the reservoir aforesaid; and the said outlet ditches of said <br />reservoir being the headgate of the same, which is located about seven hundred (700) feet <br />northwest from the southeast comer of the said northeast one-quarter (N. E. 1;4) of said <br />Section Fifteen (15), thence running as one ditch to said southeast comer of said <br />northeast one-quarter (N. E. 1;4) of said Section Fifte.en (15), at which point they branch, <br />one running due south about one-quarter ('i4) of a mile and emptying into the McCormick <br />Ditch, and the other branch running due east and then northeast about three-quarters (%) <br />of a mile to a point at or near the intersection of the Colorado Central Railroad with the <br />north boundary line of the northeast one-quarter (N.
