--Bill Jerke: How much money do you have but still can't pump? <br />--Randy Ray: Initial by-in was $5000 a well; this generated $500,000; assessments are close to <br />$1 million; tax base; these farms will be taxed until bonds are paid; we are in debt $17 million as <br />per on ing. <br />--John Stencil: Please explain: When you say they are pumping at 35%, do they have the ability <br />for more? <br />--Randy Ray: Long-term is the difficult pattern; difficult to be able to assure a certain amount of <br />water delivery in 2015. <br />Dinner: Brea <br />Recommence at 6:40 pm <br />--Bill Jerke: Reminder that there will not be a meeting in this meeting place in August; instead, <br />we are cooperating with Gunnison folks to meet with them in their meeting area; we will <br />reciprocate in August; Michelle Pierce, Doug Scots (of Metro) Metro will join us on this trip; <br />idea is to meet Monday, August 1, mid morning; make our way to Gunnison; then onto meeting <br />in Montrose in the afternoon; idea is to get a bus, State of CO would pickup cost of bus for two <br />day trip; nothing has yet been approved but seems likely; tour of Aspinal unit in the afternoon of <br />8/1 and then proceed to the roundtable; Monday night spend at hotel in Montrose (info to <br />follow); return on Tuesday with tour of several potential or existing projects on Gunnison with <br />hosts; in summary: necessitates, Monday night in Montrose; we will be making South Platte <br />presentation: Bob, Fred, Sasha being courted to make South Platte presentation; <br />--YampalWhite/Green Roundtable: Info sent to them in April; this was presented at April <br />roundtable; reminder that they do not meet except every other month; have not heard back from <br />them; know that they are contemplating hosting us for a tour of the Yampa, this would also be at <br />lease one or two nights; predicated on the idea that our "historic" meeting in Walden in <br />September 2007; difficult to do business with someone if you do not understand the entire <br />complexities of the system; State would also possibly get a bus for us; still no date set; questions <br />or input? <br />--Tom Iseman: Nature Conservancy's Carpenter Ranch is one of their reserves; and we would be <br />happy to set up a tour of Carpenter Ranch in Routt County; <br />--Jerke: Yes, this is the point, we want to see the efforts, the projects, proposed projects <br />(including Maybell pump-back proj ect) all of this will be open for discussion; we want to look at <br />kinds of assets in that basin in order to better understand the basin; then try to have a reciprocal <br />trip in the Fall to our River Basin so that the Yampa folks can understand the complexities of our <br />system. <br />
