<br />Guidelines and Specifications for Flood Hazard Mapping Partners [April 2003] <br /> <br />Options for field survey efforts also shall be discussed, including surveys of bridges, culverts, <br />levees, dams, etc.; channel cross sections or lake/ocean transects surveys; and other data surveys, <br />as needed. <br /> <br />The Project Team also might decide that further research of existing data is required. If so, a <br />Project Team member will be assigned this task. The I;;ommunity is to point out any major site <br />developments or land use changes that could happen in the near future. The Project Team shall <br />discuss these changes with respect to timing any surveyor data collection efforts for the project. <br /> <br />Review of Proposed PanelinQ Scheme <br /> <br />The Project Team shall use the scoping map to review the proposed paneling and scale scheme. <br /> <br />Review and Refinement of Base and Topoqraphic Map Sources <br /> <br />The FEMA Lead shall discuss FEMA base map specifications. The discussion will include the <br />following topics: <br /> <br />· Base map source (i.e., locally developed data or DOQs meeting FEMA minimum <br />specifications) to be used for the project; <br /> <br />. Topographic and planimctric data SOUlces, <br /> <br />· Coordination of countywide issues, if necessary; <br /> <br />· Horizontal and vertical datums; and <br /> <br />· Acquisition of the base map, if the Project Team does not already have the digital files. <br /> <br />Map Production and Database Options <br /> <br />The proposed FIRM format and optional features 'and data for the enhanced digital FIRM <br />Database (e.g., GIS data for watershed boundaries, stream reach hydrologic network structure, <br />land use data, soil data, digital elevation certificates, photographs of structures) from the draft <br />Scope of Project are to be reviewed, refmed, and finalized. <br /> <br />1.3.2.4 Assignment of Project Team Member Tasks <br /> <br />[February 2002] <br /> <br />Based on the Scope of Project, the FEMA Lead shall make preliminary task assignments to <br />Project Team members. In addition to assigning tasks, the Project Team shall establish and <br />record timeframes for each task. Also, the role of each Project Team member in providing <br />quality control will be confirmed. Any particular tasks or responsibilities not already discussed <br />as part of the previous agenda are to be considered here. The objective is for Project Team <br />members to come away from the meeting with a clear understanding of their roles and <br />responsibilities for the project.
