Reservoir No. 1 <br />contains 91 acre feet located at 1440 21 st Lane and Reservoir No.2 contains 1,800 Acre <br />Feet located at 29850 South Rd. Reservoir No.2 was enlarged from 600 AF to the <br />current 1,800 AF in 2002 thru 2004. The District's Water Treatment Plant is adjacent to <br />Reservoir No.2 and current treatment capacity is 5 MGD. The average daily demand is <br />1.1 MGD and the Max Day is 5.2 MGD. The District ground water is llsed as a <br />supplement during peaks days. <br /> <br />Planned improvelnent to the system are part of a Master Plan developed by YTO and <br />District staff, and was approved by the Board of Directors in December 2006. <br /> <br />(3) Wastewater Treatment <br />The District currently has 4,023 water taps installed. Of that total 67 customer are in St. <br />Charles Mesa Sanitation District., 154 are served by Blende Sanitation District, and 210 <br />are served by Salt Creek Sanitation District for a total of 431. The three sanitation <br />Districts have a common outfall to the Pueblo Wastewater Treatment plant. The <br />remaining 3,592 customer are using septic systems. <br /> <br />6. Description of the Proiect Plan <br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board office of Water Conservation and Drought <br />plan,ning has developed a document titled, "ewes Water Conservation Plan <br />Development Guidance Docunlent." The District will provide Y"fG with the guidance <br />docun1ent This will provide the necessary inforn1ation to develop the District's Plan. <br />The Plan will follow the structure and process described in the Water Conservation Plan <br />Development Guidance Document <br /> <br />In addition, ewes requires any community seeking financial assistance [roIn either <br />CWCB or the Colorado Water Resource and Power Development Authority to submit to <br />ewes a new or revised plan to meet the water conservation goals for CWCB approval <br />prior to releasing any loan proceeds~ The City of Lamar, the City of La Junta, and the St. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 1 0 <br />
