Backeround Characterization of Water System and Potential Growth <br />Attachment 5 - SCMWD e:allons per capita <br />The District estimates it's current and future population by it's water taps~ The District is <br />in Pueblo County and the census population estimates from the State Demographers <br />Office can not provide estimates just within the District's service area~ SCMWD has <br />averaged the water tap sales in past year and projected for the future growth~ <br /> <br />(a) Current and past years per capita water use for the last five years and the basis <br />for this calculation: <br />Formula: The gallons per capita day was derived from total annual water billed divided <br />by population numbers used by SECWCD in Project Water Allocations east of Pueblo. <br />"[his equates to a value of 2~4 7 persons per household. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 1 0 <br />
