PAIs were also solicited to participate on Management Plan subcommittees and to
receive project updates. The Forum successfully solicited participation as PAIs and
received their feedback through a public meeting and via U.S. mail. However, the
information they provided was never incorporated into the planning process. The
Project Team struggled with combining water quality data and social data provided by
PAIs. Water quality data is collected by trained field technicians and is reviewed
through a quality assurance process. These steps ensure that water quality data are
accurate and precise. There were no quality assurance checks when social data were
collected, the Forum did not ground truth any of the issues PAIs identified.
Consequently, managing and incorporating these data into the decision making process
was difficult and incomplete.
First
Name Last
Name
Or anization
Steve Adams City of Loveland, Water & Power Dept
Todd Boldt USDA-NRCS
Jeffrey Boring Big Thompson Watershed Forum
Rob Buirgy Big Thompson Watershed Forum
Sarah Clements Grand County Water Information Network
Sean Cronin City of Greeley, Water & Sewer
Dave Dubois North Front Range Water Quality Planning Association -Retired
Lavanya Gullapalli Brown & Caldwell
R.
