MEMO -TASK 91 3. Summary The result of Phase 1, 2, and 3 Spatial System Integration Component is a comprehensive irrigated lands database for Division 1 and District 47. The database is composed of two shapefiles: the irrigated parcels shapefile and the irrigation service area shapefile. The irrigated parcels shapefile contains cropland parcel boundaries that are irrigated through either surface water, ground water, or both. The parcels contain attributes that list the water source, 2001 crop type, and comments or notes learned about the parcels. Table 7 and Table 8 list the acreage of irrigated cropland sorted by water district and by crop type, respectively. The irrigation service area shapefile contains the boundaries of the surface water irrigation service areas. The attributes list the diversion structure ID (WDID), the name of the ditch company, and notes. Appendix G lists the irrigated acreage for each diversion structure.
